My role
I guide individuals and teams to shift thoughts and behaviors, so they can have the greatest impact.

About me

2X FOUNDER | investor
Brian is a certified executive coach and team workshop facilitator. He spent the first 20 years of his career in fast-paced, high-growth environments. He began his professional path evaluating high-growth technology investments, working at several early-stage companies, and earning his MBA from Stanford. Brian then founded two companies: an HR tech startup which was acquired after eight years and a professional soccer team in San Francisco which won the national championship in its first year of existence. These experiences taught him firsthand the exhilarations and challenges of fundraising, building high-performing teams, rapidly scaling businesses, and so much more.
Brian’s background affords him a unique perspective on the realities of his clients’ high-expectation environments. From that shared understanding, he creates opportunities for powerful lessons and insights via proven frameworks and practices. Using directed inquiry, Brian serves as a mirror to help highlight the blind spots and opportunities for change that we all have. He then works with individuals and teams to make that change a reality. Clients describe Brian’s style as intentional and caring. Clients include startup founders, venture capital investors, and technology executives from companies such as Meta and Genentech.
Brian grew up moving internationally every two years and speaks multiple languages, instilling in him an open and inclusive outlook on people and life. After his second startup, he went on a global Spiritual Year filled with beautiful lessons and experiences, which deepened his dedication to continuous learning and connection. Brian lives in San Francisco where he wears many hats, including that of a devoted family man, coach to entrepreneurs, advisor, angel investor, and beach lover.

Testimonials

Group Facilitation
Venture Capital Firm
Brian brought a level of professional skills and people acumen that far exceeded our expectations. His expert facilitation created an environment where our founders could go deep with one another, resulting in the kind of peer learning we hoped for, but weren't sure was possible. Brian was able to create an environment in which our founders were able to open up, learn from each other, and build trusting relationships. Brian’s experience, approach, and leadership capacity were an ideal match for our group of founders.
One-on-One Coaching
Venture Capital Partner
At the beginning of my coaching program with Brian, I wasn't 100% present during the sessions. Over time, I felt his genuine interest in me and I began to open up. He truly listened to me. Additionally, he knew how to say challenging things with love and kindness. He was able to address difficult issues of mine and managed to plant several seeds in me that helped me grow. Working with Brian was an experience of growth and evolution. Difficult? Yes, but very valuable. I'm deeply grateful.
One-on-One Coaching
Startup Founder
Brian approaches coaching with the intent to know all of you. He is interested in how you are thinking and how you are feeling emotionally, spiritually, and physically. This whole effort is for your benefit and Brian is there to help you. He really wants to know how you are doing as a person - what is working and what isn’t. I never felt judged by Brian. I felt nudged towards something better for me. His coaching was direct, yet always gentle, always loving, always with my wellbeing in mind.
One-on-One Coaching
Technology Executive
I came into coaching looking for tools to be a stronger leader at work, but what unfolded was much more expansive. The work helped me to engage authentically and respectfully when something matters. I softened my inner critic and learned to trust myself more which has resulted in leading with clarity, calm, and compassion. The changes have shown up in how I communicate with my team, how I show up as a husband and father, and how I handle stress. I’ve developed a steadier presence and a deeper sense of self-awareness.
